Once in, go to the tent on the right, and then when you appear in the mine keep on going until you see a tombstone behind a wall. Go to Pinwheel Funhouse, in the green tent at the very North. The chances of one sticking appear to be really low, though - it took me five minutes of Unscrews and Bytes to take him down. (As some people in the comments point out, it's also possible to kill Cawthon with auto-kill attacks like Unscrew. At that point it's just a waiting game until he goes down. The majority of your damage will probably come from your Bytes, of which I recommend the top two BossDrains and the top two UFOs. (If you don't have the Auto: Mimic Chip in play, RXQ's Mimic Ball will add another layer of Gift Boxes each time you use the move, plus it has Gift Boxes itself.) One of the Endos should throw up Neon Wall to deal with Alarm while your fourth member can either attack or debuff Cawthon. Put two characters in your party with Gift Boxes and have them spam the move constantly. It's easier to survive this battle by focusing on your own health. Prepare yourself for a rough time.Ĭawthon doesn't have ridiculous amounts of health - though, admittedly, you can't see his health bar - but he can kill you so quickly that his health almost doesn't matter. He's pretty fast, so these moves come zipping in at you at great speeds. He has three attacks: a normal, physical attack which will probably kill a character, 4th Wall, which hits everyone for over 600 points of damage (usually an insta-kill), and Alarm, which is identical to the attack used by Security, albeit hitting only three times instead of five. If you know his games, you know it’s him.Ĭawthon is a brutal opponent. There's a small, hidden chamber in here that leads to a hidden boss. Head southwest through the Mine until you're plunged into darkness, then walk north, pressing along the edge of the map. You'll find it in Mysterious Mine, via the Lilygear Lake entrance in the far north of the world map. In addiction to the locks detailed above, there's a sixth, secret lock, hidden in darkness.Gift Boxes is always useful, so long as the gift-giver isn't murdered horribly. Debuffs are essential for slowing it down a touch and making its attacks more manageable, Jumpscare is handy for stunning Overclock, and the BossDrain Bytes will make the damaging process much easier. Healing away its normal attacks is okay, but you’re better off going on an immediate offensive with all characters and doing what you can to decimate the bastard’s health in a hurry. It’s also really fast, and can decimate your team in an awful hurry even with its physical strikes. Overclock doesn’t hit very hard, considering its size, but it uses Unscrew.
